Come help us celebrate the opening of our garden with a good ol’ fashioned farm dance! We’ll be kicking up our heels to the stylings of Tobin Redwine & the No Shows, Wynn Williams and more! The opening of this garden is very exciting for several reasons:
1. This is our first demonstration garden in Downtown Bryan! While you’re dancing you can look at all of our veggie beds and learn a few techniques you can implement in your own backyard.
2. The Distributive Urban Farming initiative is a project that will be turning vacant lots in the Downtown area into urban farming spaces- and our first step is finally complete.
3. This space can be rented and used as a venue- what better way to try out a space than dancing the night away in it!
4. This Farm Dance is in conjunction with the November First Friday Artist Harvest! Come to Downtown and learn a bit about the agriculture in our community.
5. Do you really need another reason to come out and dance with us? Admission is free.
